The Phuket project (TPT) supports children who come from marginalised groups that are
not recognised by the Thai government for support, and hence are unable to access
education. The main aim is to support these children gain an education and become
useful members of society.

Ethiopia -Wolaita

The Daughters of Charity sisters arrived in 1985 in Wolaita-Soddo to support various social services to the local community.
Following a feeding program, the sisters commenced non-formal skill training for women and girls and gradually constructed a separate premise called “Mariam Women’s Training Centre” with the object of enabling marginalized women and girls to achieve better employment and/or income generating opportunities.

World Families Thailand Sponsorships.                                                                                                                             

World Families supports three projects in Thailand.
1. The Nongkai project (TNK), primarily provides support for children's education. Donations support children who mainly live in a family context but where significant poverty exists. The donors funds are channeled towards the children in a whole community, the aim being to lift the Level of Education for the whole group.
In the cases where children are unsupported, social workers ensure that they do not remain unfunded and in these cases funds are spread as required.

One type of Sponsorship that WFA is:

World Families Australia supports the education and development of the child who lives within a family situation. The sponsors funds are channeled towards the children in a whole community, the aim being to lift the level of education for the whole group. In the cases where children are unsupported the social workers ensure that they do not remain unfunded and in these cases funds are spread as required.
